I have the 14' Hidden Pond Kevlar with aluminum gunwales. It's fantastically light. It's my daily fisher but I've also done a few multi-day portaging trips and the capacity and weight are fantastic. Like any kevlar, it's not really built for rocky shores. I did drag the keel on a submerged boulder we didn't see ... scrapes but no cracks ... so it's got some durability to it.
